Please try:

(1) Close OpenOffice.org (also quickstart.exe).

(2) Delete <Recovery.xcu>  - path:
<...\[user_name]\Application_Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\registry\data\org\openoffice\Office\Recovery.xcu>

(3) Restart OpenOffice.org
