why drown the user in such immense documentation. punishment for not
stating the OS? i mean its far less effort for the OP to re-post with
exact OS details and for one of the members to mention the way the
openoffice programs can be located and started.

if we do mention manuals, we should mention exact links and page
numbers if possible. not throw links at the OP, because its so easy.
