I saved the .ods file to disk and opened it in Calc. In column B:

Screen shot
from bug report My observation
===============                       ==============
Blank Blank
14 Juillet 2007 14 July 2007
1 Décembre 1930 2 December 1930
1 (or 2) Décembre 1930 2 December 1930
1 Décembre 1930 1 December 1930
1 Décembre 1930 1 December 1930

The comments below are, obviously, based on the values in the "My
observation" column:
Selecting/deselecting the various cells makes no difference; the values do
*not* change.
Using column C to calculate differences between the cells in column B shows
that the values in B seem "solid"; the formulae give the expected results.
Selecting a column B cell and dragging it to the right correctly increments
the date from the initial column B value.

So the only differences I see between the sheet I downloaded and the
complainant's screen shot (apart from the *expected* and *correct*
French-to-English translation of the month-names) is that the third and
fourth rows show different dates - the screen shot shows 1 December whereas
I see 2 December.
