Hello Carl, Unfortunately this is a bug in version 2.3. To exit the slide master view select View > Toolbars > Master view Pressing the "Close Master View" button on this toolbar allows you to return to normal view. Hopefully this will get corrected in version 2.3.1... Cheers, Michele
