[users] Opening files on top

Hello,

I'm running Windows Vista & Open Office 2.3.  Whenever I open a file 
from a folder, the file is opened behind the folder so I have to 
minimise the folder to see the document, spreadsheet etc.  How can I set 
it to open the file on top of the folder?
