That depends entirely on how it is integrated. The VB application may or may not require minor or extensive modifications to work properly or at all. Or it may work perfectly just as it is. Incidentally, Symphony is not OpenOffice.org. It is merely based on an old version of Openoffice.org. Therefore, your question would be more properly addressed to IBM rather than the OO support list.
