Maybe you can answer your own question. What has it cost you so far and does it read, write and save the files you have used with that other application? OpenOffice.org is the only one you have installed on your system that can generate OASIS, ISO and IEC approved Open Standard files which governments around the world are requiring for storing data for future access by all Citizens. OpenOffice.org does not try to lock you in with trickery by changing formats that can only be opened by buy a new version like the other application does. OpenOffice.org does not threaten to take your data hostage like the other application does. OpenOffice.org does not cost several hundred dollars like the other application does. OpenOffice.org can read, write and save to the other applications formats. The other application cannot read, write or save to the only OASIS, ISO and IEC Open Standard format that is known as Open Document Format and is the native format of OpenOffice.org. Because the developer don't want it to. But the nice developers of OpenOffice.org made a plug in for it so the users can read, write and save to the native OpenOffice.org format with they want to save their files that way. So do you think you will like this free very powerful application that will be able to do what you need and make it totally unnecessary to keep the other non OASIS, ISO and IEC application around? I got rid of that other application from my computer almost 6 years ago a long with that other operating system. -- http://24.197.142.167/ See the OpenOffice.org FAQ Microsoft users go to http://www.pclinuxos.com for a great user friendly Linux experience! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
