The answer to your question depends on what the problem is.

Is your hard drive full?  Is it failing?  Can you save the document to a
different drive?  Can you save the document as a different format?  Can you
make any changes in the document that will cause it to be able to be saved?

And so on.  You must do a bit more experimentation and troubleshooting before
we can tell you what's wrong.

OO 2.3 can load and save and use documents created by OO 2.2.x and earlier.  So
the answer to this question is:  not at all.
