Hi John,
The wps files are from Microsoft Works, and no OpenOffice.org does not
have a filter for that file type. My understanding is that the folks at
go-ooo do have such a filter, and it maybe in the Novel version of
OO.org also. Anyway, you could check with the folks at http://go-ooo.org
and see if there is any thing they can do to help you.
Otherwise, one has to use MS Works to convert those files into a MS
Office format first, then import them into OpenOffice.org, TTBOMK.
