What have you tried - what are you trying to achieve. If I type 3 lines of text, highlight them, then tools > sort I get an option box which allows me to define my sort options and then 'ok' and everything is sorted as I set. Under "tools" there is no paragraph. Try format > paragraph Under "table" it stays grayed out. In Word I used this one a lot. Most options under 'table' will be greyed out unless the cursor is actually in a table. Some items will remain greyed out unless you have highlighted what is required for them to work (eg, merge cells). The items not greyed out (eg, insert) will assist with creating a table.
