What happens if you double click on a ".odt" (or .odp or .ods) file?
What about .doc, .xls or .ppt files? Does OpenOffice run? I'll bet the
answer is "no".
Sounds like OOo is not actually installed. If it doesn't appear in the
Add/Remove list then it's not. Just delete the program files and
containing folders.
**BUT** why do you want to uninstall it? It's great software *and* free.
If you want to upgrade, just download and install the new version - the
latest is 2.3.
