OpenOffice does not included Excel.  It includes a spreadsheet
application called "Calc" which is compatible with Excel.  The default
spreadsheet format is the ISO standard ODS, but you can also save in
Excel format.  OpenOffice can be obtained from www.openoffice.org.

BTW, Excel is not available for free.  You have to pay a significant
amount for it.
