I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and ask if there is any output in
the X11 window. If you weren't using XTerm for anything else, it
should be empty other than something like: "david-lowes-power-mac-
g5:~ doctorjlowe$". Of course, i'm used to Apple's X11, not sure if
the display would be any different for X11 from XOrg or others.
