I assume you're running Wndows. If so, just download the file from
www.openoffice.org to a convenient location, such as your desktop or My
Documents folder. After it's downloaded, just double click on the file
and the installer should start up. Just follow the prompts to install.
After the install has completed, you should see a folder and icons for
OpenOffice in your start menu.
