I downloaded OO into Virtual PC with XP Home Edition without any problem.
However, I can’t find out how to execute the program. I have an “OpenOffice.org
2.3 Installation File icon on the desktop. When I click on the icon, these are
the files that appear: Java, Licenses, readmes, instmia, instmsiw,
openofficeorg1, 2, 3, and 4, openofficeorg23, setup, setup. None of these file
opens OO. Clicking on either instmsia or instmsiw gives me a message saying:
Wrong OS or OS version application. Does this mean I can’t run OO in XP Home
Edition or Virtual PC or both? Thank You
