Thank you very much. What I meant though is, I will delete StuffIt, uninstall 
OpenOffice, then download it again. Then I will get Winzip to use for other 
programs that need unzipping. I wasn't going to use it for OpenOffice.

I will do that this weekend.

  There is no need to use anything else.  The installer unpacks itself,
  when you double click on it.  You can try deleting Stuffit, to see if
  that clears the problem.
