I have a Calc file containing several sheets with different print range defined in each sheet. When I export the file to pdf format, I want to make the content most visible. That is to auto-adjust each page of the pdf file to portrait or landscape according to the content. How can I achieve it? Currently all pages of my pdf file is portrait, so the visible content of
some sheets only occupy the upper half of the page.

As far as I know, you cannot do this automatically, but you can achieve it manually: with styles - in particular, page styles.

o Open the Styles and Formatting window. (Use the button on the Formatting toolbar, or Format | Styles and Formatting, or F11.) o Select the Page Styles button, so you are dealing with page styles, not cell styles.
o Create or modify (at least) two styles, one for each required orientation.
o Set the correct orientations on the Page tab of each style.
o Use the Fill Format Mode button in the Styles and Formatting window to paste the appropriate style into each page of your document. o Once you have applied the styles, you can modify them through Format | Page... if necessary. (Remember that this applies to all the pages with the relevant style, not just the current page.)
o Set the required print ranges and either print or export as PDF as required.

I trust this helps.
