We would like the text in any selected document in Open Office Writer to be 
read out loud. With other words for the text to be narrated to us.

My brother has a learning dissability(dislexia) that keeps him from studying 
further and find a carreer. If his studymaterial could be narrated, this would 
solve the problem of reading it as he is otherwise very intelligent. We already 
found a programme Read IRIS that would convert scanned handbook pages into 
usable text and this is working in Open Office Writer.

Narrating the text from there however we are still finding difficult. We have 
found some info on the web on how to do this in Windows and Word,Excell and 
Power Point but nothing similiar for Open Office.

If this is at all possible would you kindly send me step-by-step instrucionts 
on how to use this option?
