I know how to do grt the union of sets in OOo by typing A union B but I cannot find what to type when I want to say -- for exmple -- "q is an element of L".
As someone has already said, this is: q in L
Better still could someone direct me to a listing of all the available math functions. Nothing I try seems to work.
When you are creating a formula in Math or are inserting one into a Writer document using Math, go to View | Selection, and you will see a panel of available operations. There is a Set Operations button which gives access to what you may need. You can click on items here to save the need to type any of the codes, in fact. There is also a comprehensive list of available operators in the help text for Math at "operators".
I trust this helps. Brian Barker --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
