There seem to be a limitation in OpenOffice that forces me to go back to MS Word, if not someone has a solution. I'm writing books with several chapters. Like in ordinary books I want a different header in each chapter, and that is possible, just one page style for each chapter. Then, like in most every book, I don't want the header on the first page in each chapter. That makes it neccesary to insert another page style for that first page in each chapter. Now, I have, say, 16 chapters, that makes 32 pagestyles (together with the page style for each first page in every chapter.) So far so good, but my projects take long time and sometimes I realize I should change the paper size or the margins. It seems that I, in OpenOffice, have to go through all 32 pagestyles and do it manually. A terrible job if you have the amount of patience that I have. In MS Word you very easily change the margins or the paper size globally, just once and it applies to all the rest of the page styles. Very easy indeed! And this doesn't affect the headers in each chapter, they remain as they were. I'm reallyl surprised I don't find this in OO. I think it will never beat MS Word without this feature. Please, is there any way of changing margins and paper size globally in OpenOffice, as easy as in MS Word? Lennart Stagling
