Running OpenOffice v2.3 on a Fedora Core 4 system. I could have sworn
that yesterday I was able to write spreadsheets in the Microsoft Excel
2003 XML format. Today, while I can still read that format, I can no
longer write. I can do a 'Save As' and write other formats, but when I
try the XML format, I get the "...Write Error..." dialog. The Saving
indicator at the bottom of the window has its squares going the full
width of the window (i.e. the error dialog is NOT coming up in the
middle of saving).
Anybody have any idea of why this particular format gets a write error?
Like I said, I can write in other formats (like other MS formats) no
problem.
The dialog box doesn't really give any more information so I'm not sure
what else to even look at.
