I just downloaded Open Office a couple of days ago, and so far I am
favorably impressed. I have been using Office 97, which Microsoft no longer
supports. My preliminary evaluation of Open Office indicates that it will
be a good replacement for Office 97 with one major exception. That
exception is Outlook. In addition to the email features of Outlook Express,
Outlook provides an appointment calendar, an interactive task list, a phone
book, a journal, and a note feature. Is there any plan to add this type of
module to the Open Office suite, or are these features already there and I
just haven't found them yet?
