That depends on whether you downloaded the version with JRE.  If you got
the one without JRE, it won't affect it.  Regardless, after the install,
you can configure OpenOffice to use the latest (or other) version of
Java.  You can have multiple versions of JRE installed.  I don't know if
multiple versions have any benefit or not.
