I have found it is very difficult and frustrating to draw a line that is
exactly vertical or horzintal. (i.e. without a stairstep) The program
allows one to lock a line in at 45 degrees but not at 0 or 90 degrees.
This
would be a nice feature in the next release.
The easy answer is to hold down shift when you are drawing your line. This
is a standard feature on most drawing programs.
Alternatively, on the drawing toolbar, on the Lines and Arrows icon there
is a tool option called "Line (45 degrees)". This will lock your line to
any angle that is a multiple of 45 degrees, including 0 and 90.
