Hello Judy,

Don't 'hang' your question dangling at the end of another thread
dealing with something else.
It might stay unnoticed. better start a new thread by making a new message.

OpenOffice.org is available for Mac. See the Mac pages of OOo:
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac
You will need to install a windowing utility, X11 (read the
instructions on the Mac-OOo pages)
There are different versions of OOo for Mac PowerPC and for Mac Intel
(the newer computers).
