Hi, I am not a current nor experienced user od OpenOffice, but I would like to
know if and when it will be available in Australian English rather than
American or British English?
This is particularly important in regard to spell-checkers, dictionaries and
thesaurus' on Word Processors.
It is frustrating that a user has no option but to look through a dictionary,
etc in print form every time they think they may have typed and or consider
using a word incorrectly in their document.
Also, most major countries that use English as their only or main language,
have their own form of English that they use, therefore it is no good for
someone in Australia to use American English. Due to differences in some words
in how they are spelt and also national slang varies from one country (culture)
to another.
