David,

Your PDF's did not come through. However the .odt did and I had no
problems exporting the file to a PDF whereby the PDF looks exactly as
the .odt. Here is what I did:

File|Export as PDF|

Range: All
Images: JPEG Compression 100%
Reduce image resolution: 600 DPI
All other under "General" unticked.

Came out fine.

As for the white boxes; right click on Kimberly & set Wrap to 'in
Background'. Do the same for David. For better appearance, resize the
names slightly smaller so that they better fit within the announcement text.
