I have Windows Vista and am using this for the first time. The dealer told me OpenOffice would work with both Vista and XP. My old computer was Win XP and I have data I need to copy to my new computer through Microsoft Word. I was informed that OpenOffice would work with both so I can keep my work. I downloaded OpenOffice to this new computer with Vista and it will not open the program. When I went to the readme section it did not list Vista as a compatible operating system. Can you give me some information on this problem? Thank you Albert Martin
