Adobe's own *free* reader, which also provides a synchronisation conduit, is at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readerforpalm.html OpenOffice can also save in Microsoft (.doc, .xls, ...) format. The "Documents to Go" software can handle those on the Palm and also provides a conduit. It's not free unless it came with your Palm. With Documents to Go you can actually change your documents on the Palm.
