<snip>

OpenOffice can save documents in PDF format. There are PDF readers for Palm.
Adobe's own *free* reader, which also provides a synchronisation conduit, is
at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readerforpalm.html

OpenOffice can also save in Microsoft (.doc, .xls, ...) format. The
"Documents to Go" software can handle those on the Palm and also provides a
conduit. It's not free unless it came with your Palm. With Documents to Go
you can actually change your documents on the Palm. If you then synch them
back to your PC, OpenOffice will be able to handle the result.
