Many "people" sell OOo with a change or two and then call
it whatever they like. But if they failed to change the
install settings, then the OOo icon and naming stuff will
still show OOo as the program information.

I have Oxygen Office, which is an extended version of OpenOffice.org
But the program is the same as OOo, except the add-ons. You can
get the same add-ons for OOo without downloading Oxygen Office, but
both ways are free, so what ever way works for me.

Opal Office's web site seem to be a scam. They Charge for a download
and some of the web news threads are calling it a scam. So I would
look into it and contact the company you bought it from.

Funny, but the program I bought was called Opal Office.
The icon calls it Open Office for each of the 4 segments.
Came from a place called [EMAIL PROTECTED] bestdeals.com.
At the same time I see the owner of the program is Sun Microsystems Inc.
They give an address as http://www.open office.org
Perhaps you can explain this to me?

OpalOffice is a rip off. It's version 2.3 of OpenOffice which you can have *free* along with all future upgrades and support via this mail list. Just go to www.openoffice.org and press the big green "GetOpenOffice.org" button.

Given that you paid for OpalOffice, please use the vendor of that "product" for support and assistance. Or get your money back and use the free version, which we will be happy to support. We are not happy to support OpalOffice because doing so is akin to acting as an accomplice to a scam.
