I am using XP Home edition with Open Office 2.3. When I try to save a document as a Word document (.doc) the program saves it in Word Pad as an .rtf file.
Where do I go to change the preferences so that it uses .doc instead of Word Pad? did not have this problew before computer crash and susequent reload of Open Office. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks Paul Walter
