[users] Can not open .pps files properly

I just installed openoffice and have not started using it.  When I try 
to open a .pps file I go to your program instead of windows opening the 
file.  I tried open with and checked always.  I used the recomendation 
in your facs and .pps shows to be opened by windows, Yet each time I 
open a .pps file it brings up your screen and then defaults back to your 
open exe..  How do I fix this and do you have other hooks like this in 
your program.  These kind of things make a user mad and they will bad 
mouth your product.  I am a Lotus user and have had no major problems. 
If this can't be fixed, give me the method for removing all of your 
program.  By the way,  this looks like you have done a replacement of 
some of windows modules.  If so, send me a list with information on how 
to restore them.
This is not a proper way to run a tight ship!!!
