Could you describe the 'Type' and 'Brand' fields a little more? I read the
help on them however it wasn't very descriptive. So far in the little tests
I've done, Print Preview shows them each printing on a separate page instead
of grouped together on a single Letter sized print out. How do I do this?

Thank you very much for helping.

Hi,

What would be the best way to split a page into 4 uniform sections? I'm
trying to make some invitation cards. I want to print 4 small sized
cards on
1 page and cut them out later. Thanks.

Try the following...
- Open Writer
- Select File>New>Labels from the menu
- In the Format section of the dialog box
- - - select Sheet or Continuous
- - - select the Brand (note the brand also includes page size, e.g.
Letter, A4, etc.)
- - - select the type
- - - click the New Document button

You will now have a page divided into sections according to the type
of label chosen. Click in whichever section you want to type in and
begin typing.

The brand and type labels are there to use various stock provided by those companies - for example, Avery make a wide range to pre-cut labels of different sizes and layout per page.

I would select Avery A4 as the Brand, and then go through the list of Types. Each time you select one, the layout is described just to the left. If you select "C2352 Avery A6 Greeting Card", you'll see that it is shown as 2x2 per page (that is four per page - two rows, each of two across.

Hope that helps.
