If that is WordPerfect 5.0 for DOS, then the files can be opened by OOo.
However, it will take a lot of time to clean up the formatting in OOo.

If the only thing you are concerned about is content, then yes.
If the only thing you are concerned about is markup, then no.

OOo can not correct for incompetence in creating documents from MSO.
