ANy help would be appreciated. thanks, Peter Is there any reason why you can't install OpenOffice again?  You can have both OpenOffice and Microsoft Office on the same computer, as I do at work.  Failing that, there is the Sun ODF plugin, which will allow many versions of Microsoft Office to work with ODF files. http://www.sun.com/software/star/odf_plugin --
