Hello Mark, Single out a text document (one click to select it), Apple-i will open the info window about the document. Fifth triangle -> Open with -> select OpenOffice.org, then click on the Change all button (if OOo is not in the droplist, choose Other, find OOo in your Applications folder and select it). If you have .odt and .doc, you need to repeat this procedure for each extension type. Same procedure for spreadsheets (xls, ods), presentations (pps, odp),...
