hmmm- not sure what you mean.
I am running Version 2.3 right from the ubuntu ( kubuntu in my case )
repositories. But then I am now running Kubuntu 7.1, having upgraded
from 7.04.
Even so, you can now get the deb files directly from the main
OpenOffice.org download site for 2.3..so, not sure what you need to wait on.
