I am using Openoffice 2.3. Somehow I have hit something which has made numbers and indentation. I don't know how to get out of it.

To remove numbering:
o Click in the paragraph from which you want to remove numbering or select all the relevant paragraphs. o Go to Format | Bullets and Numbering... or right-click | Numbering/Bullets... .
o Click the Remove button at the bottom of the dialogue box.

Next time this happens, use Edit | Undo or Ctrl+Z to remove the automatic numbering as soon as it appears. To turn it off altogether, go to Tools | AutoCorrect... | Options and remove the tick from "Apply numbering - symbol: *".

Could I call a number for instructions? Time is important.

No. OpenOffice is a free product and support of that sort is not available.

I trust this helps.
