Hey all,
My brother does transcription for deaf/hard of hearing students and
has gotten quite fond of a software feature where rather than typing
in the whole word he can just type in the consonants and it'll expand
that into the word. For personal use and off hours he can't use the
software and would like to find some way to replicate this one very
useful feature.
Would it be difficult writing this sort of plugin for OpenOffice
having not written one before? I would think if I knew the OOo API
and some of the commands it would only be a short plugin/script, I'm
just not familiar with this side of OOo.
