Hello Bob, The problems with Openoffice.org on Leopard that have been mentioned here are mostly related with X11. There's a new version of X11 (XDarwin or Xquartz) to be used with OS X 10.5.x and this has been undergoing continuous updates in order to get rid of some bugs. You can find the updates here: http://www.x.org/wiki/XDarwin Another idea was that it works faster to start X11 manually, the start OOo, instead of starting OOo (which should trigger the start-up of X11). Did you encounter other issues?
