I am using version 2.3 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is:
In Calc:
How correctly to transfer number from one cell to another? At me it
turns out only at allocation a minimum of two cells, one of which
contains the necessary information for carry, and another-is simple
next to it. At allocation only one (necessary) cell an information
containing in it in other cell is not transferred. But it is very
inconvenient as the second cell allocated at it as moves the
information at carry on a new place. How to move the information
only from one separately taken cell?
As you will realise, you need to select the cell or cells that you
want to move before you can drag them. And you can select two or
more cells simply by dragging across them. But a single cell is an
exception, since clicking on it only moves focus to that cell and
doesn't select it in the required fashion. You can select a single
cell in either of two ways:
o Click in the cell and drag across to extend the selection to at
least one other cell. Without releasing the mouse, drag back into
the original cell. Now release the mouse.
o Click in the cell. Now Shift-click the cell.
In either case, the single cell is now selected and the display
colours are inverted, just as they would be with a multiple-cell
selection. You can now drag it in the way you need. Dropping it
elsewhere moves the contents, whilst Ctrl+dropping it copies the contents.
I trust this helps.
