[users] Semi-invisible icons.

Greetings,
 
Working in Writer (OO 2.3, Win XP Pro), I notice that the icons for
alignment, numbering and bullets, and who knows what else are barely visible
to me. My eyesight is such that, for practical purposes, I may as well just
close the toolbar. 
 
Is there a way to make these icons appear black, as in Word?
