[users] upgrading Open Office?

I am using version 2.2 and would like to upgrade to 2.3, however I am unable to 
find information on how this is done. Will 2.3 install oner 2.2? If so, will I 
lose any existing data?
If not, do I uninstall version 2.2 first? How about saving data?
