Due to formatting differences, documents may appear differently in
OpenOffice and Word. This problem also occurs between various versions
of Microsoft Office. While it doesn't directly address your issue, you
may want to download and install the Microsoft Word viewer, which is a
free download from
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/CD102258581033.aspx. With
this, you can see how your documents will appear, before sending them.
