Second Post: Thanks for the help in opening that Gallery toolbar.  There's
more I don't understand. I've been using Macs since the '80s and only know how
to doubleclick to install new things.

I have downloaded the OpenClipart accessory but don't know how to install
it.  The instructions say "To install the clipart into your system:     make
install."  That looks like a command-line entry to me, but I don't know how to
use
it.  The instructions I got from the list said to click on New Theme in the
Gallery and then point it to the directory where the clip art is stored.  Do I
put this OpenClip files into an Application/Library file?  I don't already
have one for OpenOffice.

Secondly, my Gallery has no Themes in it, and the help indicates it should
come up with backgrounds. There is a background address, but it doesn't do
anything.  What do I need to do here?

I teach computer applications . . . so now I'm feeling pretty humble not
understanding this at all.
