Hi all, all my issues seem to be related to the Tahoma font I use. Every other TTF I tried worked fine (nice hinting etc). The only weird thing that keeps happening no matter what font I use is the menu font being too large. Everywhere else 8pt is used, OOo looks like it's using 10pt instead.
