Hi, I have a fileserver samba 3.0.24, 3 client openoffice2.3.0/linux and various office2003/windowsxp. >From OOo/linux I mounted the samba share by mount.cifs and I opened a xls file then I opened the same file under office/windows and it says "unable to open filename.xls" or something like 2access denied" .. I dont know the exact translation. Anyway I'd like to open the file from windows in readonly mode like usually happens.. is it possible ?
