You need a torrent client too download a torrent file. Somebody else can suggest torrent clients. (My ISP blocks all torrent traffic, on the grounds that torrents consist exclusively of pirated software. A number of cable internet vendors in the US are moving in that direction.) >I try to download using the "download button", but the file type is unrecognized. Goto http://download.openoffice.org/2.3.1/index.html?focus=download and click on the operating system for the US English download. For some unfathomable reason, the OOo site doesn't provide a centralized location from which one can select a localization of OOo. You have to hunt for the l10n project, and then hunt on their pages to find out where you can download the localization from. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=170021 is OxygenOffice 2.3.1 which is available in several European languages. http://translate.org.za/content/view/1806/54/ contains the 2.0.3 version of OOo in the languages of South Africa. xan jonathon --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
