Hi Everyone,

I love the idea of linking pictures in my documents. I write design
documents and many of the pictures I include in my documents will have to be
modified, so linking makes updating the document very easy (OK, I don't have
to do anything). That part works great, here is my problem.

We store all of our documents on a server and make copies locally on our
computers (we use SVN to those who care). On some computers the local files
are stored on C:\ others on D:\ and I use Linux, so I don't have a drive
letter at all.

Here is my question: Is there an easy way to link my pictures with a
relative path instead of an absolute path. When I link a picture, it is
stored it with an absolute path (I looked in the xml file content.xml). I
have experimented with inputting a relative path (../ etc) and it works
great, however, the next time I examine the picture's properties, it shows
as an absolute path (though in the XML file content.xml, it is still
relative, ../). This works for me, but is not viable option for the office
in general.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am using version 2.0.2 on Linux and Windows.

Thanks in advance,
Rodney
