Hello Bill, Another proof that the OpenOffice.org website isn't all that 'intuitive'... Nevertheless, on the download page, Mac is certainly mentioned! For the Mac porting pages, go to http://porting.openoffice.org/mac Better do some reading of the How-To's. The native (Aqua) version is still in its development stages, but you can try it out (not for 'serious' production work). Otherwise you'll need to install the X11 windowing program (on Leopard it's installed by default, on Tiger or Panther you'll have to install it yourself - see the How-To about where to find it). OOo comes in a PowerPC version and a version for Intel Macs. Welcome to OOo on Mac! -- Guy using dutch OOo 2.3 m221 on a iMac Intel DualCore Tiger and brazilian OOo 2.3 RC 3 on a G4 PPC Powerbook Tiger -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches
